October 4, 2016 Board Meeting Agenda Item #27 Title APPROVAL FOR NORTH PORT HIGH'S VARSITY BASEBALL TEAM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2017 WILDCAT CLASSIC BASEBALL TOURNAMENT IN CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE ON MARCH 15-20, 2017 Description The tournament is taking place during our Spring Break and will allow the team to compete against some of the top teams in Tennessee and Georgia.  This trip will provide opportunities to reinforce the important values of teamwork, trust, respect and sportsmanship. Recommendation That the field trip for North Port High's Varsity Baseball team to participate in the 2017 Wildcat Classic Baseball Tournament in Chattanooga, Tennessee on March 15-20, 2017 be approved as presented.
